Belize Weddings All Inclusive

You've met your soul mate and you both want to spend the rest of your life together...

Imagine standing on a pristine white sand beach with the love of your life; the azure Caribbean water in the background as you make your vows. Our island is the ideal location for a romantic beach destination wedding. Coco Plum Belize weddings are ideal for couples seeking informal, hassle-free, private ceremonies performed on a beautiful, romantic private Caribbean island. Here's what you can expect:

Before the ceremony

Once you are in Belize for a period of 72 hours, a Coco Plum representative staff takes your completed marriage license application along with your valid passports and any other necessary documents to the Vital Statistics office in Belize City where he officially files for your application and pays the necessary fees. He will assist you in completing the application beforehand.

We ask that while you are at Coco Plum you think about where you would like the ceremony to be performed. Popular settings include under the wedding arch on the west side of the island, on the dock over the sea facing Man-O-War Caye, in front of the circular flower bed, or on the beach facing the east. One female and one male witness are needed for the ceremony. As you get to know the other guests and staff you can decide who you would like to ask to serve as witnesses to the marriage. On the day of the ceremony

On the day of your wedding the manager and staff will set up the location. The J.P. or minister and the photographer will arrive along with the wedding cake and your bouquet and boutonniere about one hour prior to the ceremony. While the bride is preparing for the ceremony, the groom usually meets briefly with the photographer and J.P. to discuss any particulars of the ceremony. Next, the photographer goes to the couple’s cabana and begins filming the bride. He continues filming as the bride and groom walk down the “aisle” and throughout the treasured ceremony.

After the ceremony

Following the ceremony the J.P. or minister who performed the ceremony will file the marriage register with the Registrar General's office in Belize City. Three to four weeks following the ceremony someone from Coco Plum will travel to Belize City to pick-up the completed official marriage register which will be mailed to you.
