Three new cabanas
New construction almost complete We are currently building three new ocean-front cabanas bringing the total to ten. These three cabanas continue in Coco Plum’s tradition of combining bold exterior colors with soothing, cool, romantic interiors featuring A/C, ceiling fan, a queen size bed made from indigenous hardwoods, full sized futon, 5 gallon water dispenser, tiled floors, private bath with hot water and private veranda with hammock and two chairs. The new cabanas have been placed along the curve of the western shoreline to ensure continued privacy for our guests.
New dive shop
The Coco Plum dive shop is up and running
As the island is such a beautiful, tranquil setting our divers have provided us with the feedback that we needed a dive shop so that our divers can gear up from Coco Plum rather than at dive shops on neighboring islands. Our dive shop is furnished with all new equipment including a dive compressor, dive tanks, weight and weight belts, and dive gear rental (bcd’s, regulators and wet suits). We have also addded a full time dive master to the staff.
Renovation finished on existing cabanas Our ocean-front cabanas have always been very comfortable and clean. For the upcoming season we have renovated the original five cabanas so that now all our cabanas are not only clean and comfortable but are luxurious as well. All cabanas include hardwood ceilings made of a variety of indigenous woods, including mahogany, zericote, and teak. We have added custom made cabinetry and closets in the bathrooms. We have also added special little touches to the cabanas, including crown molding, hardwood moldings around the windows, wall-mounted hair dryers and a docking station for your ipod.

Water heaters for cabanas
As our previous guests are well aware, we value your feedback! In response to your suggestions, we have replaced our previous less than perfect system of providing hot water in the showers with a new water heater system for both the showers and the basins in the cabanas.
Generator runs day and night
We generally keep the generators on 24/ 7 resting them only when guests are off the island enjoying the sea or exploring the mainland. After snorkel trips to Belize’s magnificent Barrier Reef, fishing excursions on or around the island the island, returning from mainland adventures, or after having lunch in our scenic dining area, guests have the luxury of relaxing in the comfort of their air conditioned cabanas and can enjoy a warm shower.
