Belize No Frills Vacation at Coco Plum

Come sunbathe and swim in the beautiful blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Watch the passing dolphins, rays, or the resident manatee at the end of our 200 foot dock. Enjoy our 16 acre Belize private island in your own spacious, comfortable ocean front cabana while rocking lazily in a hammock on your veranda and enjoying the spectacular tropical sunrise or sunset overlooking the Mayan mountains. Come rest and relax in one of our comfortable lounge chairs under our 40 foot thatch which houses the bar and restaurant facilities.

Rates:
Rates are in US currency, based on double occupancy. Honeymoon rates are per couple, all other rates are per person. Longer stays may be available - check each package for night stay minimums. If you would to stay with us for additional nights, contact us. Charge for extra persons in cabana based on specific package: Inquire for added cost if not shown in package. Additional tours to the mainland and to the reefs can be arranged for an additional fee. Unused portions of packages are not refundable. The bartender reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who has clearly exceeded their limit.

Note: Charges to credit cards processed in Belize will be in Belize dollars. Coco Plum Island Resort is not responsible for any currency rate of exchange variances applied by banks or for any international processing fees that may be charged by your credit card company. Payment made with a credit card goes through our Belize office so if you prefer to pay with a check (no extra bank fee), just let us know and we will give you those instructions.

Reservation Policy:
A 25% deposit per person is due at time of reservation. Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Cabana is not confirmed until we receive a deposit. We cannot guarantee a specific cabana with your reservation. Note: For reservation made from December 18th - January 5th the balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. You can make your reservation via telephone, mail, or e-mail. Reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival are to be paid in full upon receipt of confirmation. There is a5 night minimum stay (all packages) anytime between between December 21, 2008 - January 5, 2009.

Island Rental: It is best to reserve the island 8-12 months in advance of your stay. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit (check only) at the time of reservation for Island Rental. Balance (check only) is due 120 days prior to arrival.

Payment Options: Visa, Master Card, and checks are accepted. Charges to credit cards are processed in Belize will be in Belize dollars. Coco Plum Island Resort is not responsible for any currency rate of exchange variances applied by banks or for any international processing fees that may be charged by your credit card company. It is your responsibility as a traveler to a foreign country to investigate these variances/fees.Coco Plum Island Resort WILL NOT issue refunds for any currency variances and /or bank fees. Payment made with a credit card goes through our Belize office so if you prefer to pay with a check (no extra bank fee), just let us know and we will give you those instructions.

Cancellation Policy:
There is a $200.00USD administration fee for cancellations. This fee will be deducted from all refunds. All cancellations must be received in writing and confirmed by Coco Plum.
Winter & Summer season: If cancellation is made at least 90 days prior to arrival, full refund less admin fee; 61-89 days - 75% refund less admin fee; 31-60 days - 50% refund less admin fee; less than 30 days - no refund.

Christmas & Easter Season : If cancellation is made at least 120 days prior to arrival, full refund; 90-119 days - 75% refund less admin fee; 61-89 days - 50% refund less admin fee; less than 60 days prior to arrival- no refund.

Terms and Conditions:
All boat itineraries and activities are weather and conditions permitting at resort's discretion. Unused portions of meals, accommodations, and/or activities are non-refundable. Coco Plum Island Resort cannot accept responsibility for any delay, inconvenience, or additional expenses incurred which may be caused either directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as severe weather, late arrival of flights or acts of God.  Trips cancelled as a result of inclement weather and/or acts of God are non-transferable and not refundable. The bartender reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who has clearly exceeded their limit. When traveling to Belize, be sure to bring your passport! If you are not a US, Canadian, or British citizen please go to http://www.travelbelize.org/immigration.html to check for Belizean entry requirements.  No refunds will be given for denied entry caused by failure to carry proper proof of citizenship or the appropriate visa.

Gratuities:

The package rate does not include a gratuity. We have developed a suggested gratuities guide in response to feedback from previous guests. Please bear in mind that it is meant to be just a guide for you. The actual amount is left totally up to your discretion and dependent upon the quality of service. We suggest $160.00 per couple for a six to seven night stay for the entire staff. For your convenience, each cabana has a breakdown of this total in the welcome binder. We do have a tip box at Coco Plum so you can either add the gratuity to your bill when you check out or you can place a tip in the tip box. We suggest (if you are happy with the service you received of course) a total of around $160 US total for a seven night stay.
