Spacious Interiors.
With exteriors dressed in bold, tropical colors, the cabanas have spacious verandas over-looking the beautiful Caribbean Sea. All our Belizean accommodations face east, giving views of spectacular tropical sunrises and capturing the gentle sea breezes. Our raised cabanas take advantage of the cool sea breezes, providing you with a better view of the beautiful blue Caribbean Sea.
Your Surroundings
The views here are spectacular containing panoramas of the adjoining cays and the central coast of Belize. Enjoy the sunset over the beautiful Maya Mountains. You can enjoy strolling along the pier while watching sea life. One pier is over 200 ft. long! It is the perfect place for a quick dip in our crystal clear, 83º waters. A gazebo, ideal for sunbathing and relaxing, is at the end of the dock. Watch for passing dolphins and rays, as well as our resident manatee, who makes regular appearances and is a thrill to join in a swim!
A trail along the western edge of the island leads from the cabanas to the southern tip of Coco Plum Cay. Running along a mangrove-edged lagoon, the trail often provides glimpses of iguanas, hermit crabs, and several species of birds. To see more about nature on the island, see our Island Vacation page.
At the end of the cay are two thatch umbrellas with hammocks, a perfect hideaway for reading a favorite novel, sunbathing, or simply relaxing with that special someone. The beach here is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling. A privacy gate provides guests a small, yet beautiful, peninsula all to themselves!
You can take a short paddle to Man-O-War Cay, a bird sanctuary; or take a leisurely paddle to the barrier reef. Kayak along mangrove-lined islands. Cruising there, you may happen upon a school of feeding dolphins or a gentle manatee. Starfish love to swim in the lagoon water. Packed lunches can be arranged for longer trips. The waters surrounding the cay are protected within the barrier reef, always warm and clear, and ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.
